During the first 10 months of this year, there were 308 newly approved foreign-invested enterprises in Henan Province with actually utilized foreign capital of RMB3.574b, increased by 42.9% year-on-year. Large projects with abundant capital promoted the actual utilization of foreign capital in Henan Province with rapid growth.
At present, more than half of the entities, totaled in 12, in the economic and technological development zones in Sanmenxia, Xinxiang, Luohe and Zhengzhou, as well as 5 entities in Zhengzhou, Zheng Dong New Area, Zhumadian, Anyang and Jiyuan in Henan Province completed the objective of the actual utilization of foreign capital of the whole year ahead of schedule. During the ten months, 102 projects in more than USD5m and 67 projects in more than USD10m actually settled capital in Henan Province, accounting for 85% and 77.8% respectively of the total amount of actually settled capital in Henan Province. The capital settlement of these large projects provides a strong support for the growth of actually utilization of foreign capital in Henan Province this year.
